Nexus One for Sprint - Get Your Nexus One with Sprint
Views: 28193 Report
The Google Nexus One for Sprint will be the ultimate touch smart phone. To get a Nexus One leveraging Sprint's fast 3g network you need to start by buying a Nexus One online exclusively from Google. Once you get your hands on a Nexus One you can when activate it for Sprint. It's essentially an unlocked phone.

Some of the top questions people want answered are:
- how much will the Nexus One cost?
- where can I buy a Nexus One?
- when will the Nexus One be available?

Anonymous (12/13): I just got a Sprint HTC hero, so kinda locked in for 2 years. :/. At least my phone has flash and multi-touch. (report)
Anonymous (12/31): B/c it's just a phone and no phone should cost someone 0.5 thousand dollars. That's just insane. All just to see it become obsolete within the next couple of months. (report)
Anonymous (1/5): NO because its not compatible with CDMA you tards! (report)
Anonymous (1/5): Not for sprint, not even for Verison yet! What a waste of a website! (report)
Anonymous (1/5): too expensive... not sure if its compatible with sprint (report)
Anonymous (1/6): complete waste of a website name, can not work on Sprint, GSM w/sim only. Blows, but then again Sprint is always a little late to the party. Still waiting on the WinMo 6.5 upgrade with Sprint and a new Droid phone better than Hero. (report)
Anonymous (1/6): Verizon is getting Nexus One in Spring of the coming year. CDMA is an option. (report)
Anonymous (1/6): It is only compatible with GSM networks right now. It is interesting that the spring will bring it to a CDMA network in Verizon. By that time, I am hoping that Sprint can bring it on board with a newer version and less bugs. Overall, I am intrigued but I will flinch at spending $500+ on a phone. (report)
Anonymous (1/6): Like people have pointed out, this is a GSM device currently. In the spring, it will be released on CDMA to Verizon, but I bet Sprint users will have to wait until summer. (report)
Anonymous (1/6): Only if sprint has it (report)
eldamon (1/6): any particular reason the haters are all anonymous? (report)
Anonymous (1/7): No b/c they haven't even been in talks with Sprint about deploying the phone for their network...the only CDMA service provider that has been confirmed with and unconfirmed date is Verizon. (report)
Anonymous (1/8): its not available on Sprint dumbasses! (report)
Anonymous (1/20): This is redundant but I'll post it anyway...Nexus One will not work with Sprint right now because the Nexus One only works on GSM networks and Sprint is CDMA. We will have to wait for HTC to release a CDMA version of the Nexus One before it will work with Sprint (..or Sprint would need to switch to GSM, but neither one is happening anytime soon..). Verizon has announced that the Nexus One will work with Verizon sometime this spring. Is that because HTC is releasing a CDMA version on the Nexus One this spring and Verizon gets first dibs, or is it because Verizon is launching their 4G network this spring and it will be a GSM network? Who knows, not enough info has been released yet as to which is the case. If it is because HTC is releasing a CDMA version of the Nexus One this spring then chances are Sprint will pick it up a handful of months later.________________________________________ Side-note: Us anonymous folk are not so because we're haters, we're anonymous because taking the time to fill out a registration form and then log in just so we can post a random, one-off, passing by comment is just too much effort sometimes. (report)
Anonymous (1/21): hero sounds way better (report)
Anonymous (1/22): While it's true for the moment that Nexus One isn't on Sprint YET, I feel that Google's domineering marketing won't allow for any large service to not carry this phone. (report)
Anonymous (1/26): VVV...the htc hero does not have flash...VVV (report)
Anonymous (1/28): This information is misleading. The currently available Nexus One phones are GSM. Sprint is CDMA. Therefore there is no way to connect a current Nexus One to Sprint. When the Verizon (CMDA) verion of the Nexus One does eventually come out, there is no guarantee it has any chance of it working on Sprint either. In fact chances are it will not. This post should be removed. If you would like to put up a post that pleased with Google/HTC to make a Sprint model, that is something entirely different. (report)
Anonymous (1/30): Walmart has a posting showing available soon for the Nexus One under AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint. It's on a GSM network right now, but is looking to be available on the CDMA network on the first half of 2010. (report)
cyt (1/30): not sure if its compatible with sprint (report)
zeau2004 (2/1): I have a rooted HTC Hero...and its better than the Nexus One will ever be! At least for now! (report)
Anonymous (2/2): wait for the htc supersonic...same specs as nexus one with 4g service + htc sense UI. (report)
Anonymous (2/8): I bought the Hero that why:( (report)
Anonymous (8/20): NEXUS ONE DOES NOT WORK WITH SPRINT YET (AUGUST 2010) (report)
